  1. Surely the original T-bird was a better looking car—and then Chevy introduced the Stingray Corvette and blew everyone's socks off.

  2. Hi, The Rad Trad.

The T-Bird depicted, above, is a Second-Generation Model.

I suspect the First-Generation Model is the one you refer to as "a better looking car". It certainly looked different to the Second-Generation vehicles.

Wikipedia, speaking about The T-Bird, states: "The Ford Thunderbird began life in February 1953 in direct response to Chevrolet's new sports car, the Corvette, which was publicly unveiled in prototype form just a month before."

As always, it's good to hear from The Rad Trad.

    1. Personally I think the first generation T-Bird was the best looking of the Thunderbirds. I am partial to the Corvette, though (dull looking until 1956). The 1963 Stingray coupe (father owned one) was the best looking Corvette and, in my book, American sports car ever made!

Either way, those 1950s and early 1960s roadsters always give me "Good, Good, Good Vibrations!"

    2. Thank You, The Rad Trad.

Good to know that you and your father both like those fabulous roadsters.
