The Feast of The Holy Family.

  1. I can't tell you how apposite the ''according to Benedict XVI'' part is. The (modern) feast of the Holy Family is actually celebrated on the Sunday within the Octave of Epiphany, but popes are notorious for their tampering. For example, Leo XIII assigned the feast to the third Sunday after Epiphany in 1893 and then Benedict XV moved it to the Sunday within the Octave in 1921. Why? Lord only knows.

I'd much rather just have the Sunday within the Octave (of a feast already full of meaning and tradition) - an octave abolished by Pius XII. Again, why?
