I was part of an On-Line Meeting of the Committee of The Society, on Saturday, 6 June 2020. One of the things that I learned was that there has been a substantial upsurge in the number of Priests ordering Copies of The Missale Romanum and Altar Cards from The LMS shop during the Lockdown due to COVID 19.

It remains to be seen how this works out in the long run, but it is surely good news for supporters of The Traditional Mass.
It would seem reasonable to suppose that there are many priests well read on the history of Vatican up to now, since so much new information has been published in the last 10 years, such as the memoirs of Fr Yves Congar, OP and those of Fr. Louis Bouyer, and the two unofficial histories of Vatican II, “Iota Unum” by Romano Amerio and Roberto De Matteo’s “The 2nd Vatican Council: An Unwritten Story:” And a careful examination of these eyewitness accounts tells us that much of what we have been told regarding the abrogation of the Traditional Mass is not “quite accurate.”
ReplyDeleteThank you for your Comment. I think it is fair to say that, nowadays, after intense scrutiny and analysis of all the Vatican Ii documents, etc, many of the same are now discredited.
DeleteWhich begs the questions: Why were they manipulated ?. And by whom ?
By their actions will they be known.
