    As with many things that inform this correspondent which hitherto those matters were unknown to same, Zephyrinus and Dom Gaspar Lefebvre, OSB, informs us that the Ember Saturday within Pentecost Octave (Station at S. Peter’s Basilica) with its 5 Old Testament Lessons, Epistle, and Gospel of Our Lord healing the sick (Luke 4:38-44), was reserved for priestly ordinations. Now all these beautiful and profound readings make even more sense. -Comment by Dante P.
