The priest at our Latin Mass church a week ago wonderfully emphasized the matter of indulgences and the relationship of them to the souls in purgatory and how we should especially in November, but throughout the year, pray for the Holy Souls, that their time may be swiftly concluded. He also observed that we ought to consider how much a soul released by our prayers will in turn persevere joyously and devotedly in forever praying for and interceding on our behalf for our needs.
What a wonderful Priest !!! Thank God for such a holy Priest, who encourages his Parishioners to Pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
How refreshing that such a good, Faithful, Catholic, Priest speaks wonders to his flock. After his death, a Priest has to explain his actions and devotedness to Christ as to how he looked after his Parishioners. This Priest, that Dante P mentions, will be held in high esteem by his actions.
The first Prayer that one says after Mass should always be for the Priest who has just Celebrated Mass for you.
