Lump in throat time, and thoughts & prayers for lost friends. Jim who's helicopter hit a cable in Hong Kong. Tony, who crashed into the Belize jungle - at least I got to fly him home. The 20 who went off for a refresher parachute course and died when the Hastings 'went in' at Abingdon. Paul in a fighter collision ....... we will remember them.

ReplyDeleteIndeed, John, we will remember them. And Pray for them, daily.
ReplyDeleteAs The Church teaches us: It is a good and Holy thing to Pray for The Dead.
And, of course, the greatest thing on Earth that we can do for them all: Have a Mass said for all one's deceased family, relatives, and friends.
May they all Rest In Peace.
