Thank You, Dante Peregrinus. You are quite right, of course. The Sanctuary is, indeed, a Sacred Precinct. That is something that The Novus Ordo appears to have paid very little attention to in their Modern-Day Liturgy.
The Sense of Sacredness has been replaced by guitars and waving at everybody in the congregation. And, God Forbid, singing Happy Birthday to Betty, who arranges the flowers !!!
