    What an amazing sanctuary!

    Is it correct, “Dom Zephyrinus,” that this structure dates from about 1060-1100 AD? William the Conqueror era?

      Yes, indeed. The Foundations of the present Cathedral were laid by Abbot Serlo (1072 – 1104).

      Gloucester Cathedral is a national treasure. Its magnificent Cloisters were featured in The Harry Potter films.
