Chauffeur Perkins drives Zephyrinus to Sunday Mass
in the current Charabanc, with which Perkins is not particularly enamoured. He says he’s found an excellent replacement (or two).

Is the World ready for Perkins driving a 16-cylinder beast ?

Perkins is “getting above himself”, one feels.

Now, should Perkins somehow finagle the Cadillac or Duesenberg, is he also committing himself (given his already terribly busy schedule)to washing, waxing, and polishing it daily for Zephyrinus? Gentlemen’s bets, anyone?

A most apt and pertinent Comment, Dante P. One that Perkins, obviously, has not yet thought through properly. Once he has done so, I presage a contretemps of gargantuan proportions twixt him, Jeeves (Butler), and Mrs. Tiddlypush (the recently-acquired “Tweeny”), about who brandishes the cleaning kit for the new charabancs. Watch this space !!!
