I received a memo from our dear Carmelite Nuns of Colorado Springs today containing these two thoughts during this month of November:
“To assist the souls in Purgatory is to perform the most excellent of the works of mercy; Rather, it is to practice in a most sublime manner all the works of mercy together..” —S. Francis de Sales.
“We must empty Purgatory with our prayers.” —Padre Pio
Dear Dante P. Please thank our dear Carmelite Nuns for these wonderful two thoughts, most applicable to November (The Month of The Dead). Let us all Pray, besides for our beloved deceased Family, Relatives, and Friends, but also for all those in Purgatory who have nobody Praying for them. "It is a Holy and Noble thing to Pray for The Dead, that they may be loosed from their sins".
