Interestingly, the last native English-speaking Pope,
Cardinal Nicholas Breakspear (Hadrian IV), a Cardinal
of the Order of Bishops, also had as his Cardinalatial title
the Suburbicarian See of Albano.
Before Pope Leo XIV, Cardinal Breakspear had been the
only Cardinal of that Titular See to be elected Roman Pontiff.
