What a fascinating story of this little country church in Kettlebaston, Suffolk and its Anglo Catholic history. Rev. William Story Selin (1895-1911) and then Fr. Butler (1929-1964) were “spot-on” seeking a true worship of Our Lord (“ But the hour cometh, and now is [here], when true adorers shall adore the Father in Spirit and in truth. For the Father also seeketh such to adore him.” -John 4:23, Doral-Rheims).
A very touching thought of the old priest, Fr. Butler, saying Mass in Latin all by himself, right to the end of his days, because he knew nonetheless he should live out his days worshipping “in Spirit and in truth.”
A beautiful country “church visit” to Suffolk: thank you, Zephyrinus! -Note by Dante P

You highlight for all of us how Faithful Rev. William Selin and Fr. Butler were in their Worship of Our Lord.
Especially pleasing, as you say, was Fr. Butler saying Mass in Latin all by himself.
