Ave, Regina cælorum,
Ave, Domina Angelorum:
Salve, radix, salve, Porta,
Ex qua mundo lux est orta:
Gaude Virgo gloriosa,
Super omnes speciosa,
Vale, o valde decora,
Et pro nobis Christum exora.

Saint Cuthbert’s Chapel, Ushaw Seminary, Durham, England. A perfect setting for the Celebration of The Divine Mass.
Please God, one day this Chapel will be a regular Mass location, again. During the height of Ushaw Seminary
in the 1960s, over 400 Seminarians would attend
Daily Divine Mass in this Chapel.

  1. What an amazing video of the Solemn High Mass at Ushaw in 1960: thank you, Zephyrinus. Just the solemn, stately entrance, the cross bearer and candle-bearers, shoulder-to-shoulder, stepping perfectly in synchrony with each other and all the attendant servers, just amazing. This humble scribe has downloaded the video to watch and listen to it often, when the paltry, faded, sad state of the current Roman liturgy gets too much to bear. “What we have lost” in 65 years.

At least we know some day, the liturgical order will be restored. The Truth always is victorious. -Comment by Dante P
