    Stunning, and hopefully Perkins and Jeeves will have “just enough” space for their personal belongings.

    It is interesting that the wealthy businessman William Gibbs who expanded and improved Tynesfield, derived his vast fortune from lowly “guano” from Peru (used as fertilizer).

    But we should be thankful for his resourcefulness and business genius, because of course now the Tynesfield Trust, which preserves this magnificent mansion and grounds, presents it to us and the world. -Comment by Dante P
