to let Chauffeur Perkins choose the new mode of transport required to take Zephyrinus to The Divine Mass on
Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation.
Q. Has Perkins not yet advised Jeeves that Perkins has assigned Jeeves to pull Zephyrinus’ golden coach (while Perkins is to steer)? -Comment by Dante P

DeletePerkins, being the Senior Worker Chappie, is always “Lording it” over Jeeves, a relevant new-boy as far as Perkins is concerned.
Thus, Perkins did indeed try and get Jeeves to pull the Golden State Coach, while Perkins sat up top and steered and waved to the crowds.
The outcome ? Jeeves complained of a very bad strained back and has spent a week going to the Doctor's Out-Clinic, whilst never being seen in the Servants' Quarters !!!
Perkins is mightily miffed !!!
Staff can be sooooooooooooooooo difficult !!!
