Westminster Cathedral.
Tuesday 3 November 2026, 1400hrs.
Police Officers and Staff from across The United Kingdom
will join Serving and Retired Members of The Catholic
Police Guild at Westminster Cathedral for the
103rd Annual National Police Requiem Mass.
In a deeply moving act of remembrance, the National Police Roll of Honour, presented with the valued support of the Police Memorial Trust, will be placed before The High Altar, alongside Metropolitan Police male and female head-dress, a Police Cap representing the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), and a wreath of Remembrance Poppies.
Together, these symbols will pay tribute to Officers
and Staff who have lost their lives in the service of others.
The Ceremonial Procession will be received at the
Great West Door of Westminster Cathedral by an
impressive assembly of Force Standards and Colour Parties.
Led by Serving Officers of the Catholic Police Guild, and accompanied by the Metropolitan Police Sovereign’s Colour Unit, Police Officers and Staff from Forces across the United Kingdom will advance with dignity across the Cathedral Piazza before entering the Mother Church of England and Wales for this Sacred Act of Prayer and Remembrance.
The National Police Requiem Mass remains a powerful expression of Faith, Gratitude and Remembrance, commending to God’s Mercy the Souls of departed colleagues, while Praying for the protection, courage, and vocation,
of all who continue to Serve today.
