There is nothing wrong with the use of The Maniple in
The Novus Ordo. If a set of Vestments has The Maniple, Fathers, put it on. And say the proper Prayer when putting it on:
Merear, Domine, portare manipulum fletus et doloris;
ut cum exsultatione recipiam mercedem laboris.
May I be made meritorious, O Lord, to bear a Maniple
of weeping and sorrow, so that I might receive
with exaltation labour’s reward.
