WHEN YOU GO HOME,
TELL THEM OF US,
AND SAY:
"FOR YOUR TOMORROW,
WE GAVE OUR TODAY."

11 November - Remembrance Day

At the 11th Hour,
Of the 11th Day,
Of the 11th Month,
The guns finally fell silent.

In August 1914, when World War I started,
They said: "It will all be over by Christmas".

It wasn't.

Millions and millions and millions of soldiers, sailors and airmen died.

They called it: "The war to end all wars".

It didn't.
