Bishops Conduct Exorcism, Over The Entire Nation Of Mexico, To Cast Out Demon Of Abortion.

MEXICO CITY, June 30, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) – An unprecedented event took place in the city of San Luis Potosi, in Mexico, as a group of bishops performed an exorcism on the entire country.

“Mexico opened the door to the devil when we legalized abortion,” said Cardinal Juan Sandoval, Bishop Emeritus from Gualajara, who led the exorcism. “It’s the legalization of homicide,” he told El Universal.

The first ever exorcism on a whole country took place last month behind closed doors inside the Cathedral of San Luis Potosí. It was made public once Pope Francis was informed it had happened. Only one journalist, Roberto O’Farril, was allowed inside.

“Mexico is living a demonic infestation similar to the one these territories lived before the evangelization and before Our Lady of Guadalupe’s apparition,” said O’Farril in an interview with AciPrensa.

He compared abortion to the sacrifices performed by the Aztecs. “Many of those sacrifices were human sacrificies,” he continued. “Young warriors and damsels whose chests were cut open to take out the heart and offer it to these demons.”

According to renowned exorcist Fr. Jose Antonio Fortea, who was also present, anExorcismo Magno “is useful in a situation in which great violence is unleashed in a country.”

San Luis Potosi’s Archbishop, Mons. Cabrero, explained the exorcism was done to ask “for the liberation of this strong presence of the enemy.”

“This prayer is certainly extraordinary, but it’s still a practice within the Church,” he explained in interview with AciPrensa.

Official data show 138,000 legal abortions have been performed in Mexico City since abortion was made legal there in 2007.

A recent study from the Guttmacher Institute revealed that Mexico has one of the highest abortion rates in the world, with 33 in every 1,000 pregnancies ending in abortion.

In 2013, LifeSiteNews reported the case of a man who claimed he was suffering from demonic influence because of the legalization of abortion in Mexico. Renowned exorcist Fr. Amorth confirmed the possession and tried to exorcise the man's demons, concluding the demons would leave him when the abortion law was reversed.

O’Farril, who covered this man’s case, said the demons possessing the man had said that time, “She had banished us from Mexico but your stupid laws have allowed human sacrifices to return.”

According to Sandoval, “the grave situation we are living in Mexico has a very profound root,” that goes “further than human evil, it is the devil, who is very connected to death, he’s been the murdere[r] since the beginning.”

Sandoval went on to compare the victims murdered by the cartels, who are often dismembered, to the children who are “torn apart inside their mother’s womb.”

CNN Mexico reported Sandoval might go on to perform more exorcisms in other Mexican states.

Today concludes, by a special Mass, the concert of praise offered during eight days by The Church to The Apostles, Peter and Paul, whose names are eternal (Introit, Epistle).

Mass: Sapiéntiam sanctórum.

The following Text is from "The Liturgical Year", by Abbot Guéranger, O.S.B.

On this, the last day of The Octave Consecrated to the triumph of these two Princes of The Apostles, let us once again salute the City [Rome] which was witness of their final combat. She is guardian of their tombs, and continues to be The See of Peter's successors; by this double Title, she is the vestibule of Heaven, the capital of the Spiritual Empire.

The very thought of the august trophies that adorn both banks of her noble river, and of all those other glorious memories that linger around her, made the heart of Saint John Chrysostom exult with enthusiasm beneath the Eastern sky. We give his words as addressed to the people in one of his homilies:
"In very deed, the heavens, illuminated by the fiery rays of the meridian sun, have naught comparable to Rome's resplendent rays shed over the whole Earth by these two luminaries. Thence will Paul arise, thence Peter, likewise. Reflect, yea, tremble, at the thought of what a spectacle Rome is to witness, when Peter and Paul, rising up from their graves, shall be borne aloft to meet The Lord.
How brilliant in her roseate hue is Rome before the eyes of Christ ! What garlands encircle this City ! With what Golden Chains is she girded ! What fountains are hers ! Oh !, this City of stupendous fame! I admire her, not because of the Gold wherewith she abounds, nor because of her proud porticoes, but because she holds within her these two Pillars of The Church."
Then the illustrious orator goes on to remark how he burned with longing desire to visit these sacred tombs, the treasure of the World, the secure rampart of The Queen City.

Pope Benedict XIV
(Papacy 1740-1758)
 stated in his Papal Bull,

"Admirabilis Sapientiae Dei Sublimitas",
dated 1 April 1743,

that, on each of the days within The Octave of Saint Peter and Saint Paul,
a Pontifical Mass should be sung in one of the Churches in Rome
where are preserved the chief memorials of The Holy Apostles.

To pay honour to the Churches of The Eternal City, where are preserved the chief memorials of The Holy Apostles, Pope Benedict XIV [Papacy 1740-1758] fixed that on each of the days, within The Octave, a Pontifical Mass should be sung in one of these Churches successively. The Cantors and other Ministers of The Papal Chapel attending.

The Festival of 29 June (Saint Peter and Saint Paul) is reserved to The Sovereign Pontiff himself, who Celebrates in The Vatican Basilica, at the tomb of The Prince of The Apostles.

On 30 June, the Bishop's Assistants at The Pontifical Throne are convoked in the Basilica on The Ostian Way (Saint Paul-Without-the-Walls), built not far from the site of Saint Paul's Martyrdom, and enclosing both the body of The Doctor of The Gentiles and his Chains.

On 1 July, The Apostolic Protonotaries are assembled in the Church of Saint Pudentiana, formerly the house of the Senator Pudens, where, as we are informed by Pope Benedict XIV, "Peter Preached The Divine Word and Celebrated The Sacred Mysteries; thus, in a way, laying the first foundations of The Roman Church, the Mother and Mistress of all other Churches."

On 2 July, The Major Domo, or Master of The Sacred Palace, and The Auditors of The Rota, pay homage, in like manner, at the Basilica of Sancta Maria-in-Via-Lata, to the memory of the two years' sojourn of The Apostle of The Gentiles in this place.

On 3 July, The Pontifical Mass is Celebrated at the Basilica of Saint Peter-ad-Vincula, where The Clerks of The Camera attend.

On 4 July, at The Mamertine Prison, Pontifical Mass is sung in the presence of The Referendarii of The Segnatura.

On 5 July, Pontifical Mass is sung before The Abbreviators of The Greater Parcus, at the Church of Saint Peter's-in-Montorio, said, by Tradition, to be the spot of Saint Peter's Crucifixion.

On 6 July, the Octave Day, The Sacred College of Cardinals terminates The Octave with a Grand Solemnity at the Basilica of Saint John Lateran.

Saint Anthony Mary was born of a noble family at Cremona, Italy. Penetration of mind, added to integrity of life, raised him above his school fellows. Having won his Degree of Doctor of Medicine, at Padua, Italy, he understood, by a warning from God, that he was called to heal Spiritual, rather than bodily, diseases.

Like the young man in the Gospel, he had from childhood observed The Commandments; more faithful than the young man in the Gospel, Saint Anthony Mary left everything to follow Jesus (Gospel). He Founded The Order of Clerks Regular, whose Members are called Barnabites, because they took up their abode near the Church of Saint Barnabas.

Saint Anthony Mary gave them Saint Paul as Model and Protector. He was, like The Great Apostle, filled with super-eminent knowledge of Christ (Collect). Wherefore, the Introit, Gradual, Alleluia, and Communion, apply to him the very words of The Apostle, and the Epistle is that in which The Doctor of The Gentiles gives to his Disciple, Timothy, the counsels that guided him in his teaching.

Consoled by a Heavenly Vision of The Apostles, he died a Holy Death at the age of thirty-six in 1539.

The Canticle of The Blessed Virgin Mary
(Luke i. 46 - 53)

Mary's answer to her cousin, Elizabeth,
who hails her as The Mother of God,
Blessed Among Women.

This Canticle is said standing.

The Canticle of Mary.
This is Mary's Great Exaltation of Praise to God.
For in her visit to Elizabeth, Mary's Faith is validated; that she will be The Mother of
The World's Saviour - Jesus Christ ! And so, with Rejoicing and Thanksgiving for all
His Mighty Deeds, His Mercy on the lowly and His Fulfillment of Covenant -
Mary's Soul bursts forth with Joy to The Lord.

Magnificat *
anima mea Dóminum.

Et exsultávit spíritus meus
* in Deo salutári meo.

Quia respéxit humilitátem ancillae suae:
* ecce enim ex hoc beátam me dicent omnes generatiónes.

Quia fecit mihi magna qui potens est:
* et sanctum nomen ejus.

Et misericórdia ejus a progénie in progénies
* timéntibus eum

Fecit poténtiam ín bráchio suo:
* dispérsit supérbos mente cordis sui.

Depósuit poténtes de sede,
* et exaltávit húmiles.

Esuriéntes implévit bonis:
et dívites dimísit inánes.

Suscépit Israël púerum suum,
* recordátus misericórdiae suae:

Sicut locútus est ad patres nostros,
* Abraham, et sémini ejus in saécula.

Glória Pátri, et Fílio, et Spirítui Sáncto.
* Sicut érat in princípio, et nunc, et semper,
et in saécula saeculórum.
Amen.

My Soul doth magnify The Lord.
And my Spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

For He hath regarded the lowliness of His handmaid:
for behold, from henceforth,
all generations shall call me Blessed.

For He that is mighty,
hath done great things to me:
and Holy is His name.

And His mercy is from generation unto generations,
unto them that fear Him,

He hath showed strength with His arm:
He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their heart.

He hath put down the mighty from their seat
and hath exalted the humble.

He hath filled the hungry with good things:
and the rich He hath sent away empty.

He hath received Israel His servant,
being mindful of His mercy.

As He spake to our forefathers:
Abraham and to his seed for ever.

Glory be to The Father,
And to The Son,
And to The Holy Ghost.

As it was in the beginning,
Is now and ever shall be,

World without end.
Amen.

Pope Saint Leo II, a Sicilian by birth, participated in the full Priesthood of Christ (Introit, Epistle, Gradual, Alleluia) on becoming Pope. Guided by The Holy Ghost, he gave their full value to the Spiritual Riches of The Church committed to his care by Jesus (Gospel, Communion).

He approved The Acts of The Sixth Council, which condemned those who taught that Christ had only one will. Well versed in Sacred Singing, he perfected the melodies of The Psalms and of The Hymns of The Church.

He was truly The Father of The Poor and, by his example and Preaching, led every one to Virtue. He died in 683 A.D., and was buried in the Basilica of Saint Peter, Rome.

Let us imitate the example of this Saint (Collect), who was one of the successors of Saint Peter on the Pontifical Throne.

The Angel Gabriel had announced to Mary that God would soon give a son to Elizabeth. The Virgin at once betook herself to Hebron, where her cousin resided: That is The Mystery of The Visitation, which is Solemnised on the day following The Octave of The Nativity of Saint John the Baptist.

On this day, as in The Season of Advent, The Church recalls together the memories of The Precursor and of Jesus and Mary. For we then remarked, that the Friday in The Winter Ember Week recalled to us the same Mystery of The Visitation.

This Feast was instituted for the whole World in 1389, by Pope Urban VI, in order to obtain the end of the Great Western Schism. It was later on raised to The Rite of Double of The Second-Class by Blessed Pope Pius IX, for on this Feast was completed at Rome in 1849 the victory of The Church over the Revolution.

Mary visits Elizabeth and Jesus visits and Sanctifies John. Wherefore, Saint John leaps with joy and Elizabeth, filled with The Holy Ghost, exclaims: " Blessed art thou among women and Blessed is The Fruit of thy Womb" (Gospel).

The Virgin, Mother of God, who bears and gives birth to Him Who bears and produces all things (Gradual, Alleluia, Offertory, Communion) then pronounces a "Sublime Canticle" (Introit), The Magnificat.

Mass: Salve, sancta parens.

The Liturgy, that admirable summary of the history of The Church, reminds us every year that, at this date in 1849, thanks to the French Army, the Revolution which had driven the Pope from Rome was vanquished.

To perpetuate the memory of this triumph, and to show that it was due to The Saviour's Merits, Blessed Pope Pius IX, at the time a refugee at Gaeta, Italy, instituted The Feast of The Precious Blood. Pope Pius XI, in 1934, raised it to the Rank of a First-Class Feast.

The Heart of Jesus has made this Adorable Blood circulate in His limbs; wherefore, as on The Feast of The Sacred Heart, the Gospel presents to our view the thrust of the lance which pierced the side of The Divine Crucified, Blood and Water gushing forth. [The Office of Matins speaks of The Blood which Christ shed at The Circumcision, and in The Garden of Olives, and The Flagellation (Scourging) at The Pillar, and The Crowning of Thorns, and on The Cross.]

Thus become united the two testimonies which The Holy Ghost bore to The Messias, when He was Baptised in The Water of The Jordan and when He was Baptised in Blood on The Cross (Gradual).

Let us do homage to The Precious Blood of Our Redeemer, which the Priest offers to God on the Altar.

Mass: Redemisti nos.
