On Thursday, 4 November 2021, the Church of The Holy Name of Jesus, Brooklyn, New York, will have a Sung Requiem Mass for Xavier High School’s recently deceased Latin teacher, Dr Philip Caliendo, who spent nearly thirty years educating Xavier boys from the neighbourhood and all around the Tri-State area.
There will be a comprehensive programme with translation and cues for those new to The Latin Rite and the music will be very fine.
The Mass will begin at 1900 hrs. The Church is located at 245 Prospect Park West.
